This project marks Muja’s first artist collaboration, bringing together contemporary art, design and whiskey in a completely new way. AUSO is the expression of this encounter. Each bottle becomes a piece to discover, collect and keep — shaped by the distinctive vision of an artist. The collection explores the transformation of matter through colour, engravings and stamps. Each AUSO decanter is individually worked by hand, creating subtle variations that make every piece unique. The name AUSO, from the Latin ausus (“dared”), reflects this idea of creation and transformation. At its heart lies an exceptionally rare Single Grain matured for 20 years in ex-Bourbon casks, complemented by carefully selected Single Malt (ex-Sherry and ex-Marsala) and Single Pot Still (ex-Bourbon). Produced in extremely limited quantities, it reveals layers of vanilla, honey, dried fruit and delicate spice, with remarkable smoothness, a silky texture and exceptional balance. Taste: Silky, smooth and elegantly structured. Long and refined, with lingering vanilla, honey, toasted almond and soft oak. Appearance: Deep golden amber with bright copper highlights. Aroma: Vanilla, honey, toffee, dried fruit and delicate spice, layered with subtle oak.
